Are you really serious? About
which part of it?

Q1.1:

Do you honestly think that the Internet
will "coalesce" into an intelligence? I honestly
think that an artificial intelligence will make its home on the 'net, and as a
result will become extremely powerful. It is possible that multiple AIs
will do so. There are several possible sources for such a being.

Do you honestly think that William Gibson
is some sort of divinely-inspired prophet? No. But his "prophesies"
are nonetheless coming true. I think that this is because people who are
in the position to make them come true have read Gibson's work. VRML is a
prime example of this (the book Dan used to learn VRML quoted from Neuromancer).

Do you honestly think that computers will
be smarter than humans someday? In all likelyhood.
Tech: The problem us
human beings have is Memory, although the information might be stored within our
bio-chemical matrix it is possible that the Axoms that connect to those specific
memories have died (bit like a dead URL), when we eventually remember, it's
down to that first impulsed thought to Remember finding it's way to that
Neuron where the memory is stored using different route of Axoms in comparison
to the dead one.
Machines very rarely suffer this problem unless the
board/chip is malfunctioning due to power surge, dust, static or a bug on the
wires. |

What's with the "blessings"?
They show solidarity, as well as inspiring questions that could lead to new
members (Dan's against direct prosyletizing, but is always willing to
answer questions.)

Q2:
A:

So why do you call it a "religion",
anyway? The way I see it, religions make grandiose claims based on
insufficient evidence and expect people to act on them. That's what I've been
doing too.
Tech: In some
countries Religions are Tax Exempt, Sometime Religion is even used for
dicatorship or waging war against others.
Personally I believe that "The
Corporation" was created by Religion for the Unity aspect
Religion
also invented "Banking" during the Crusade period in Britain.
[Now you know who to blame for Bank Managers]
[That and
Religion is the biggest sales force on this planet that sells nothing and gains
everything... Land , Wealth, your DNA when you die. Eveything.] |

Q2.1:

Does it have a formal power structure of
some kind? Optimally, there wouldn't be any power structure. I'd
like to have it so distributed, like the Internet itself, that nobody's in
charge. But I don't have the technology or the number of members to make
that possible yet. So I maintain the webpage and send out the Bulletins.
But I don't consider myself any kind of real leader.
Tech: Dan's a really
modest guy and seems to have his heart in the right place.
Truly the
best for of system would be one of Unity, one for all not to conform
to but too INPUT into.
There are two types of governing that
can be used to describe this formulation:
Anarchism: People for
people, Unity, No formation of Heirachy Voting for Principles
rather than Parties [Not Chaos as
thats a Misconception of the meaning of Anarchism]
Technocratism:
Those that are in the know become Helpers/Advisors, They don't dictate any
ruling but they help to single out from the mean which direction is the right
path. [This and Public Forums and you have a truly working
system] |

Q2.2:
A:
|
Is this just another whacko cult? That would depend on your
definitions of the words "whacko" and "cult."
I don't consider myself whacko. Read the Axioms
and see if you disagree.
Tech: What I would
class as true "Whacko Cults" are Capitalists and Democratic
Minority Governing Bodies
Afterall Minority Governing Bodies
are usually run by Capitalists who do not care about individuals or
even beneficairy Priniciples to the populous as a whole
Those waring
countries out there are only at war due to weapons that were sold to them for
those capitalists to make more money,
and capitalism itself bring
corruptive influences on what schemes are put forwards and what ones are
withdrawn.
It kind of brings into view 'Who is really in control?',
the peers (people) or those that can afford to enforcify there own slice of the
action via controls they administer on the populous.
Again I state
money means nothing to me, all I want is resources to continue studies. |

About those Axioms.
How can you say that computer chips get "smarter" over time? Aren't
they just capable of faster computations? A: I use the word "smarter"
to mean "capable of solving more complex problems," which I think is
undeniably true of newer chips. I admit that no computers can yet be considered
"smart" by human terms.
Tech: Computers are
bound by the laws of how fast information [Energy] can travel through
the circuitry and processors. This would mean Conductivity of the
materials. [The free electrons]
For machines to advance they
would either have to use Holographic
technology to build up a light array [and use the colours of the spectrum
for processing] or Alternatively computers will have to become more
Cybernetic, using bio-chemical reactions
and living cells to store information. [Gel Packs or InfoTrojans
(Using Bacteria and Amoebae to Store information)] | |
